1. What is a Vendor Account?
A Vendor Account is designed for card shop owners, online stores, and professional dealers. It upgrades your profile to a storefront-style page, gives you the ability to post announcements to your followers, and provides enhanced visibility in both the marketplace and the vendor directory. Verified Vendors receive a badge on their profile and listings that signals trustworthiness to buyers.
2. How to Apply
Tap Profile → 'Upgrade to Vendor', or visit pocketdex.app/vendor-apply on any browser.
Fill in your business details: store name, website or social links, and business type (local shop, online store, convention dealer, etc.).
Our team reviews all applications within 2–3 business days.
Approved vendors receive a 'Verified Vendor' badge on their profile and marketplace listings.
Applications are reviewed manually to maintain the quality of the vendor directory. Providing accurate business information speeds up the approval process.
3. Post Types

4. Follower Notifications
Any PocketDex user can follow your vendor profile to receive push notifications whenever you post.
When you publish a Restock Blast, all your followers get a push notification immediately.
This is especially powerful for limited or high-demand product — followers can plan to visit or buy online before stock runs out.
Followers can choose which post types they want to be notified about (e.g., only Restocks, or all post types).

6. Vendor Profile Optimisation Tips
Use a high-quality logo or store photo as your profile image — first impressions matter.
Write a compelling bio that covers what you sell, where you're located, and what makes your store unique.
Post regularly — vendors who post 3 or more times per week see 4× more followers on average.
Respond quickly to messages and offers — your response time is visible on your profile and affects your trust score.
Keep inventory information accurate — posting about cards you don't actually have will damage your reputation with buyers.
7. Community Guidelines for Vendors
Vendor status comes with a higher standard of conduct in the community.
Only post about inventory you actually have in stock or are actively seeking to buy.
Do not post misleading prices, bait-and-switch listings, or false availability.
Respond to buyer inquiries within 48 hours.
Violations may result in removal of Vendor status or account suspension.
